If you regard Althaus as brand, you could say, that it is based on old Russian Tea tradition. If you regard Althaus however as product - it is a new Tea collection for the HoReCa trade, a result of long German, American and Russian co-operation.
Althaus tea collection was developed by one of the most renowned tea masters in Germany, Ralf Janecki. He offers Althaus over 20+ years of international experience ranging from; overseeing the fields of Asia, production, exporting to trading houses world wide to the intensive contacts to the tea producers and trades in the whole world. Ralf’s passion for tea formed the basis for today’s tea collection.
Elegant packaging for your convenience comes in attractive single packs and exceptional tins for loose tea have been developed by an American designer, Studia Radia of New York. We also offer porcelain and decorative presentation displays to complete the overall design.
The idea for the brand came from Russia, that is why it is not just a coincidence that the Russian Tea tradition follows Althaus assortment. The first public appearance took place on Food Expo in Moscow in October 2005. Today Althaus is already enjoyed in more than 25 countries.
Althaus puts together the requirement of highest product quality with most modern production methods, thousands of years of old Tea tradition, including surprising new Tea blends and attractive Design - and all this is by an appropriate price.

In order to achieve the highest quality standards, Althaus works only with carefully selected and reputable partners so that we can deliver you the only best teas.
After importing the entire tea collection the shipment is processed, packaged and delivered from our facilities in Lüneburg, Germany. The collection goes through strict examination via multistage control made by our Althaus tea tasters.
